Regnie

Once they were nine: now they are ten. The very comfortable circle of the nine chosen ones were moved by the claims of a new pretender, who had serious arguments in his favour. He made his entry very officially over 20 years ago, in 1988. On hillsides immersed in a sea of vines between their two older brothers, Morgon to the north and Brouilly to the south, the neighbouring villages of Régnié and Durette merged in 1973 as a first step towards a revision of their status and their promotion to "Cru".
People say light-heartedly that a single cup of Régnié will teach you more about the Beaujolais region than any of the books written on the subject! So try it and see!

A lovely deep ruby colour, limpid and brilliant, with red and black berry aromas. Initially fresh on the palate, followed by full, aromatic, structured flesh and good length. This well-balanced wine is ready to drink.
