Thierry CONDEMINE is the fourth generation to manage this important 35-hectare estate.
The vineyard plots are located all around the Château and benefit from excellent south/south-east exposure.
The CONDEMINE family has been present in Juliénas since around 1800, and acquired this beautiful estate in 1908.
In 1910, Thierry’s great-grandfather, Claude CONDEMINE, undertook extensive work to restore the property in its entirety.
Since 1980, the old wooden vats have been removed to make way for a modern thermo-regulated stainless steel vat room, allowing the use of the most elaborate winemaking techniques.
The estate is currently run by Thierry CONDEMINE.
A rarity in Beaujolais, 200 meters of beautiful vaulted cellars lie beneath the château.
