The Domaine is mainly located in the commune of Prissé, one of the six villages where Saint Véran is produced.
The beautiful building, constructed at the end of the 17th century, is just 500 m from the Château de Monceau, where Lamartine, a historic figure in the Mâconnais region, wrote “L’Histoire des Girondins”.
To find the peace and quiet he needed to write his book, the famous poet would isolate himself at the far end of the park in a tiny wooden cottage he called “la solitude”.
Benoît TRIBOULET bought the property in 1932.
In 1959, Hubert TRIBOULET succeeded his father.
After Hubert, it’s now Alain who runs the estate with great care.
