This 19th Century ch\u00e2teau is at the heart of the Juli\u00e9nas Appellation in the hamlet of ‘Les Capitans’.

\nThe vines are planted in a single block around the Estate, on an excellent ‘terroir’.
\nThe South-South-East exposure means that the grapes enjoy plenty of sunshine and achieve an ideal maturity.
\nIn popular tradition, the hamlet is said to preserve traces of a Roman past. It was considered to be a strategic point and is thought to have been a headquarters, hence the name ‘Capitan’, which refers to its function as an officer’s quarters.<\/p>\n
