History

Created in 1953 by Marcel PIGNARD, the estate is now run by his three sons, Guy, Jean-Claude and Eric.
This beautiful estate is located in the commune of Arnas, just outside Villefranche sur Saône.
The vines are carefully and rigorously managed.
Yields are carefully controlled on all plots (green harvesting and work).
The grapes are picked at optimum ripeness in an early-ripening sector and vinified in a completely renovated vat-house (thermo-regulated vats and pneumatic press).

Tasting

This Beaujolais has a beautiful deep ruby color. The nose is highly aromatic and fruity, with notes of red berries. On the palate, there’s a good aromatic intensity dominated by red fruit. A very pleasant, harmonious wine.
