Born on October 9, 1936 in Hamburg, Jan Voos is a German painter, watercolorist, sculptor, ceramist and engraver living in France. His work attempts to reflect an everyday reality by inventing small stories in his paintings where animals and characters appear. He adds, superimposes usual objects, animals, plants, silhouettes of men and women.
