History
Aligoté is a grape variety that has given its name to an Appellation Contrôlée. It covers 1 000 hectares and extends over three departments: Côte d’Or, Yonne and Saône et Loire.
Bourgogne Aligoté is a white wine.
It is used as a base for the real “Kir”: 2/3 Bourgogne Aligoté, 1/3 crème de cassis. The other preparations can only claim the qualification of “White Wine – Blackcurrant”.
It is a wine that is sufficiently structured to keep its young and fruity character for 3 to 4 years.
Tasting
Beautiful color with light green reflections. The nose develops aromas of citrus fruits and white flowers. The mouth is tonic and full of fruits, slightly acidic, which bring a real freshness.
