Beaujolais rosé is made using the Gamay Noir à Jus Blanc grape that is emblematic of the Beaujolais region. As its name suggests the skin is black while the juice is white or clear.
Beaujolais Rosé is made by pressing the grapes direct, after they may or may not have macerated on the skins for a short period. This is where its diaphanous colour – that varies in shade from pale rose petal to salmon pink – comes from.
Fresh and thirst-quenching, Beaujolais rosé rolls over your tongue without ever being aggressive, forsaking acidity for tenderness.
In its special and original packaging, “Comme un air de rosé” will sit elegantly on your table this summer.
