History
The domaine is situated on the commune of Cercié, at the foot of the Mont Brouilly. It is owned by the families D’ALBON and D’ARAGON on one hand, and DE SAINTE MARIE D’AGNEAUX .
The vines are facing south, with a gentle slope, on sandy and argilo-limestone soils.
The grape is white-juiced gamay noir, on vialla rootstock. Age of the vines varies from 20 to 85 years.
Wines are mostly vinified traditionnally and partly with the hot pre-fermentation maceration technique.
Tasting
Deep ruby colour.
Intense aromas of red and black fruits. Well balanced and full-bodied, with fine and elegant tanins.
A remarkable length in mouth. This Brouilly combines roundness and harmony.
