History

Philippe BARON is the current owner of the domain.
This estate is magnificently positioned to capture the best of the Beaujolais sunlight (south-east exposure).

The vines are cultivated in order to reduce carbon impact : few interventions of the tractor, mostly human hand.

The average yield is 50 hl/hectare.

The fermenting room sits on the ground floor of a beautiful building, located behind a massif covered in pine and cedar.

Vinification : semi-carbonic maceration and “grillage” (immersed cap).

Cyril COPERET, a talented and careful winemaker, is in charge of vines, harvest and winemaking.

Tasting

With a deep red colour, this Fleurie offers up the characteristic aroma of red berries. Thanks to the delicate but identifiable tannins, this wine had a good structure in the mouth. This is a wine with great aromatic complexity.
