History

Historical evidence in the Villié archives dates back to 947. Today, we know that this village lay on a Roman road through the region.

Morgon is a hamlet in the Villié-Morgon district, not a commune.

Morgon “Belles Grives” is the fruit of a blend of the finest wines from the best of the Cru Morgon terroir, such as Grand Cras, Les Charmes, Corcelette, Les Micouds, Douby, Bellevue and more.

Tasting

This Morgon is extremely harmonious, offering exhilarating aromas of blackcurrant, plum, violet and heirloom rose. It glides softly across the palate, revealing successive waves of fresh red berries. The soft, sweet and subtly persistent final notes demonstrate the wonderful maturity of this wine.
