Côte du Py is the eruptive hill that sits at the heart of Morgon, the largest of the Beaujolais crus. It owes its name to an ancient volcano (Puy) that shapes the landscape and culminates at an altitude of over 300 meters.

Tasting
This Morgon has a brilliant deep garnet color. Intense aromas of black fruit (blackcurrant, black cherry) with hints of kirsch and fruit in brandy. The body is there for the taking, with sublime freshness and concentration on the palate, and tannins that are both youthful and coated. A hint of spice on the finish and on the nose. A racy, beautifully grained cuvée, well equipped for ageing.
