This beautiful estate comprises three hectares of vines surrounding a magnificent mansion that was once owned by a Lyonnais silk manufacturer.
Madame JORCIN’s father-in-law bought the château in 1933.
Since 1975, the date of her husband’s death, Madame JORCIN has been assisted by two winemakers (father and son) who work the vines and make the wine.
A third of the production is vinified with a “grillage” (immersed marc cap) to extract maximum color and tannin.
The wines are then matured in some forty barrels in a beautiful vaulted cellar beneath the building, in accordance with Madame JORCIN’s wishes.
Very attached to her wine, she follows every stage of the vinification process with great care.
Georges DUBOEUF has been buying wine from this estate for several decades.
