History

La Côte du Py est la colline éruptive qui trône au cœur de Morgon, le plus étendu des crus du Beaujolais. Elle doit son nom à un ancien volcan (Puy) qui modèle le paysage et culmine à plus de 300 mètres d’altitude.

Harmonieuse, la Côte du Py se démarque du paysage par son chêne centenaire qui domine le Beaujolais. A son sommet, une vue imprenable sur le vignoble, les monts du Beaujolais, la plaine de la Saône, les Alpes…

Tasting

Ce Morgon offre une robe brillante grenat profond. Il s’impose d’emblée par d’intenses arômes de fruits noirs (cassis, cerise noire) avec des notes kirschées et de fruits à l’eau-de-vie. La matière est au rendez-vous avec une sublime fraîcheur et concentration en bouche, du tanin à la fois encore juvénile et enrobé. Une pointe d’épices en finale et à l’olfaction. Une cuvée racée, avec un joli grain, armée pour la garde.
