Gérard CHARVET is a man passionate about his vines and his wine.
His family has lived in Chénas for over a century, making him a meticulous, hard-working winegrower.
Since his father’s death in 1983, Gérard has taken over the estate with talent.
His winery is modern and functional.
Gérard has listened to the advice of his “elders”, and produces wines that regularly win awards in various competitions.
Combining the conservation of his wines between stainless steel vats and oak barrels, he makes the most of both.
Georges DUBOEUF has been buying all his production from him since 1976.
The Domaine has been awarded HVE certification.
High Environmental Value is the most demanding level of an environmental certification scheme for agricultural and viticultural operations.
It is a voluntary process designed to identify and promote practices that are particularly respectful of the environment.
It covers 4 themes: biodiversity preservation, phytosanitary strategy, fertilization management and water resource management.
