History
The vines for this cuvée extend over 1.20 hectares on the steep slopes between the Solutré and Vergisson rocks.
The soil is predominantly clay-limestone, with limestone dominating in places, giving the wine a fine minerality.
The steep slopes of the plots require particular care.
The vines are planted with grass and regularly ploughed between the rows to combat erosion.
The winegrower is a precise, clean and meticulous man who vinifies a wine in his own image: this Pouilly-Fuissé is straight and pure.
Tasting
This light-skinned wine offers a delicate nose of fresh fruit and white flowers, enhanced by a touch of early citrus.
Round but not excessive, the palate is soft and lemony, with a long, lingering grapefruit finish.
