History

38 communes (31 situées dans le Rhône et 7 en Saône et Loire) réparties sur 3 zones géographiques aux spécificités marquées, donnent vie au Beaujolais-Villages, première appellation française à avoir utilisé le terme “Villages”. Le mot “villages” a été adopté en 1950 pour remplacer la multiplicité des noms de communes qui pouvaient être ajoutés sur l’étiquette à l’appellation Beaujolais pour distinguer des productions considérées comme supérieures.

Ce délectable vin rouge marque une sorte de transition entre le Beaujolais “tout court” au caractère primesautier et les prestigieux dix crus. Toutes les nuances sont possibles, mais les vins allient toujours finesse, arômes et corps.

Robe cerise intense et brillante avec des reflets violacés. Nez complexe avec des parfums de fruits rouges et noirs (framboise, groseille, cassis). Vin velouté aux tanins fins, harmonieux et complet.
