History
Aligoté is a grape variety that has given its name to an Appellation Contrôlée.
It covers 1,000 hectares in three départements: Côte d’Or, Yonne and Saône et Loire.
Bourgogne Aligoté is a white wine.
It is the basis for the real “Kir”: 2/3 Bourgogne Aligoté, 1/3 crème de cassis.
Other preparations can only be described as “Vin Blanc – Cassis”.)
This wine is sufficiently structured to retain its youthful, fruity character for 3 to 4 years.
Tasting
Attractive color with light green highlights.
The nose develops aromas of citrus fruit and white flowers.
The palate is invigorating and full of fruit, slightly acidic, bringing a real freshness.
