Poster 1988 : Jacques LAGRANGE

Born in Paris on July 28, 1917 and died on July 20, 1995 in Châteauroux, he was a French painter, engraver and scriptwriter. Creator of many tapestry cartoons, Jacques Lagrange was a professor at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Lagrange created several monumental works integrated into the achievements of the architect Édouard Albert, a 600 m2 ceiling for the Croulebarbe tower, the first skyscraper in Paris, and a marble pavement for the Faculty of Science at Jussieu.
