Born in 1952, he lives and works in Marseille and Paris. Since the 1990s, Gérard Traquandi has been developing a powerful and singular body of work that constantly questions the very practices of painting, photography and sculpture. He explores the pictorial practice without ceasing to question a plurality of techniques and supports, from photography, engraving and drawing to ceramics.
