Born in 1964 in Grenoble, she is a contemporary painter who lives and works in Paris. Carole Benzaken’s art deals with the exploration of the image as a tribute to reality. She expresses herself mostly through paintings that are both abstract and figurative. Her work questions our sensitive certainties often through large formats that show blurred scenes as if they were perceived in motion.
