History
Located entirely in the commune of Chiroubles, in a place called Pontheux (a variation of “petit pont”), this estate produces only Chiroubles.
It has been run by the MEZIAT family, from father to son, since 1889.
The vines face south-south/west on rather steep slopes, and are worked largely by hand using traditional methods.
Tasting
Garnet-red color.
Surprising intensity on the nose, with aromas of “sorbet vigneron” and blackcurrant berries!
This Chiroubles also expresses itself wonderfully on the palate: gourmand to perfection, warm, with mellow tannins.
