This domain is exploited by Michel CARRET and his son Jérôme. The work of the vineyard and the wine is a family history at the CARRET’s, since Jérôme represents the 4th generation which takes over the domain.
The vines are 45 years old on average. The vines are trained in gobelet for the 30 year old vines and in free standing for the older vines. 35 % of the estate still has plots with 13,000 to 14,000 vines per hectare, which requires a lot of manual work. The average yield is 50 hl/hectare. The vineyard is very hilly, with slopes ranging from 10 to 30 %.
The winery has been completely renovated with thermoregulated stainless steel tanks.
