Pierre GARDETTE has passed down all his passion and expertise to his daughter, Claudine.
The AOP Brouilly vineyards cover some 5 hectares in “La Folie”, a plot sitting at around 350m above sea level. The soil here is poor, with large chunks of granite and very little clay, while the vines are planted close together and can reach 9,000-10,000 vines per hectare. Each vine is goblet-pruned and protected using sustainable products and practices.

Winemaking:
– Semi-carbonic maceration (8-10 days) with temperature control throughout fermentation.
– The alcoholic fermentation and maturing processes are completed in stainless steel vats.
– It then undergoes total malo-lactic fermentation.
