It is now certain that the village was the crossing point of a Roman road.
Morgon is a hamlet of Villié-Morgon, not a commune.
Morgon “Belles Grives” is a blend of the best vintages produced on Cru Morgon terroirs such as Grand Cras, les Charmes, Corcelette, les Micouds, Douby and Bellevue.
Tasting
This is a very harmonious Morgon, with intoxicating aromas of blackcurrant, plum, violet and old-fashioned rose.
The whole gently coats the palate, revealing successive waves of fresh red fruit.
The soft, subtly prolonged finish is a sign of maturity.
