History
This 3.65-hectare estate is located in the commune of Cercié, at the foot of Mont Brouilly.
It is owned by the D’ALBON and D’ARAGON families on the one hand, and DE SAINTE MARIE D’AGNEAUX on the other.
The vines face due south, on a gentle slope of sandy clay-limestone soil.
The grape variety is gamay noir with white juice on vialla.
The vines range in age from 20 to 85 years.
Most of the wines are vinified using traditional methods, with some undergoing hot prefermentary maceration.
Tasting
With its deep ruby color, this Brouilly offers intense aromas of red and black fruits.
Well-balanced, with fine, elegant tannins, it is remarkably long on the palate.
