History
The LENOIR family has been winemakers from father to son for over five generations.
The estate is located in Saint-Maurice de Satonnay (13 km north of Mâcon), and is renowned for the high quality of its Mâcon-Villages.
Part of the typical Mâcon house was built at least 300 years ago.
Average age of vines: 40 years.
Cultivation methods: soil cultivation with a large proportion of grass cover.
Extensive disbudding to manage yields.
Mechanical harvesting.
Vinification and ageing: pneumatic pressing, alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel (60%) and concrete (40%) vats.
Aged on fine lees.
Tasting
Brilliant pale gold color with green highlights.
Intense nose of white flowers delicately enhanced by lemony notes.
The palate confirms this marvellous bouquet, offering a fruity, floral aromatic palette.
